Lola Plato Grande

A group of twenty artisans dispersed between two workshops in the Bajío area of Mexico make up Perla Valtierra's studio team. The high-end, handcrafted ceramic collection utilizes locally sourced clay and blends Mexican pottery techniques with contemporary methods from across the globe. This Grande Lola Plato, or large plate, is set in a rich chocolate brown glaze that took months to develop and perfect, and features a beautifully hand-formed wavy edge.

The Brand

A group of twenty artisans make up Perla Valtierra's studio team across two workshops in the Bajío area of Mexico. Founded by Valtierra in 2010, her high-end, handcrafted ceramic collection blends traditional Mexican pottery techniques with methods and styles learned from time spent in Paris, Kyoto and Brussels. We've collaborated with Perla on a collection of ceramics in a rich chocolate glaze and are thrilled to welcome Perla to the Atrio family.
