Meet Behnaia, a new home concept founded by Los Angeles-based sister duo Payal and Hasina Patel. The name comes from the Hindi words for sister “behna” and made “banaya.” Open for the very first time at Platform, the shop is filled with new and vintage treasures hand-selected by the sisters on their travels through South Africa and India. Expect wood sculptures, mohair textiles, vintage objects, tabletop accessories and more. Everything is handmade, slowly and in small batches, celebrating cultural heritage and generational artistry.
